Surviving just barely
The only way I know how
Struggling to keep my head
Above the rising water

Legs and arms flailing
Running low on morale and hope
Fatigue my nemesis
Showing no sign of defeat

Breathing in water,
My mind is racing,
Vision distorted and
Then slowly everything is gone

Swimming lessons couldn't prepare me enough
For the merciless water
Engulfing me in a torment
Drowning me in the sea of life







I had reached a point in life,
where i just want to bang my head onto the wall,
let the blood flow continously,
and leave this place quietly.
