HEY! HEY! HEY!

How's EVERYONE? Hope everything is doing well for you guys. =)

I am currently on a holiday break in Australia (Melbourne) and i really miss all my lovely darlings, family and friends back in Singapore. Its been my 4th day in Melbourne, and i had been to many different places and made lots of new friends. The people here are really friendly and glad to have them bringing me around.

I think many people had been wondering when I am going to start blogging, and here I am spending my sun evening resting and sharing all the happy happenings I had in Melbourne with you guys. Hope it’s not too long winded because I really got so much i wanna share. hee hee. And i think pictures speak louder than words, so i really took lots of photos till all my friends think i am siao. haa haa.

Let me begin.

At the Airport

The day i flew off was rather a emotional and touching one. My parents, grandparents, sis and i had our dinner at Crystal Jade Restaurant. After dinner as i was collecting my boarding pass, Koon, Joanne and Ning Zhen came and i was quite excited and happy that they came to send me off. But as i was still queueing, the rest of the MC buddies came and gave me a surprise. At that time, i was so touched that all came to send me off that i almost teared but did not yet. Aside from the MCs, my best buddy, marvin also came to send me off.

The MCs were so sweet, they did a compiled letter which Ning Zhen gave me in a way like the emperor is passing a message down. I was told not to open until the plane takes off. We took quite a couple of photos, and gave everyone a big hug before going in. (I wan the photos! It can be found on my daughter, NingZhen's Blog) As i was about to go in, i started tearing, cause i am really so touched and honoured to have so many loves ones around me who take the time off to send me off and i am going to miss them for 25 days. Marvin went in to the departure hall with me as he had a staff pass. Managed to get in on time after helping my friend get a few stuff from the DFS.

The plane depart half an hour later due to some technical error. Right after the plane take off and the signal is clear, i opened and started reading the super long letter while listening to my ipod. Its hard to explain how I feel while reading, cause all I knew was tears flowed down my cheeks rapidly as I read the letter. The past one year was really a tough one for us and we really had lots of breathtaking memories. As I read each letter, I recalled the time we spend together and I know I am going to miss you guys badly while in Australia. It was really so dramatic la. I suppose the couple seated next to me must be wondering what this guy is doing. Haha. I opened another present as well. When the air stewardess ask me which food I would like to have, then I realized this emo boy had cried for 2 hours. ><

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank all the MCs who came down to send me off and thanks for taking time off to write me such a meaningful and memorable letter. I am really greatly appreciated for all these. At the same time, I would not forget my beloved family who send me off and also my best buddy.

I will definitely spend lots of time during this holiday to choose and buy presents for you guys. Because you guys simply make my life a more meaningful and happier one!

Day 1

Once i stepped out of Melbourne airport, i was immediately received by Peini. She rented a car for 3 days just to come pick me from airport and bring me to those far places over the 3 days. Shortly after reaching her apartment, we left for University of Melbourne where she studies for lecture. Then went to the School of Commerce to check out if i can make it to the uni, and was glad that my graduating gpa met their entry criteria and i would be exempted for a couple of modules.

My first meal in Aust was pizza and pasta with lime milk shake.

Right after lunch, we started our shopping spree at the Direct Factory Outlet at Cheltenham. Only managed to buy one t-shirt for my nephew. Nothing much there lo. Then went to Westfield Southland shopping centre and continue the spree, and bought myself quite a couple of shirts, and had high tea at Nando's. The fries is really delicious but heard that it was very sinful. haha.

Right after lunch, we went shopping again, this time at Chadstone, one of the biggest shopping mall in Melbourne. Bought my darling and myself a few t-shirts then walked around and ate sushi and fries for snacks. Right after shopping, we went to shop supermarket before going to the nearby Krispy Kream. Many people told me how nice the donuts was and how long they queue to buy them, so i bought 12 and finished 6 within that night.

After stuffing 6 donuts down my stomach, i started preparing egg mayo for next day's sandwich at Strawberry farm.

After making the egg mayo, took a quick bath then went to bath liao, cause next morning we got to wake up real early for hot spring appointment.

Ring! Ring! Ring! Woke up early in the morning at 6am to prepare sandwich before leaving our place with Amy, Nicole and Peini on a long road journey to Penisular HotSpring @ Mornington, as our appointment was at 9am. Took a cold bath before getting in for hot soak. The water was real hot at first but slowly get used to it, and then it was so comfy that i don wanna leave the place.

Right after our Hotspring, we proceed on to our next destination, the Strawberry farm. Each of us paid $2 for a container to fetch the strawberries we had picked. The farm is really big and we spend about 1 hour picking and posing for photos.
