Finger FootBall
Now that the world cup fever is getting real hot. Share with you guys a new way of playing soccer. Its really cool, hope one day my hands will be as flexible as theirs. Hahaha. Enjoy!
Hey, missing in action for 4 days again. Was quite busy so never blog, but got so many things to share with you guys already, so now faster blog, or else later brain clogged. haha.
Mon study the whole day till 4pm, then went for "BAsh it" talk before going for Graduation Night meeting. The BAsh it includes many interesting topic such as, "Does looking good gives you a helping hand in landing a job?", "Does age affects the effectiveness of a person?", "Does kissing in public lowers a person's morale?", "Should same-sex relationship be accepted in society?", "Does singapore had a freedom of speech?" and one more which slips out of my mind.
Many people would say that looks helps to play a part in getting a job. If you guys say NO, you would be lying to yourself. But to me, I dun think looks matter. It’s the quality and substance in you that matter, because even though if you look good but your heart is evil or you don’t have the substance in you, it’s still pointless. And to those who think that better looking people get job easily, I would like to ask you. Is looks one of the criteria during a job interview? Does it mean that people who are average looking or below would not be able to get a job? Does it mean that looks is everything? Aside from job recruitment, does it mean that good looking people will be treated differently or better? Does it mean that they would have special privileges? Are good looking people the perfect person in life? As I grow up and meet people from all walks of life, it seems that the answers to my questions are YES. And to those people who say yes, it’s a disgrace to them, because they themselves are the ugliest in the world. (Sorry, no offence, it’s just my true feelings, we should have our freedom of speech right?)
Nothing is fair in the world, sometimes we just have to accept what we have, and live to the fullest each day. I strongly believe that as long as you had tried your best and put in all your effort, there will be a day when your dreams will come true. If things just come to your hands so easily without reaching for it, the sense of satisfaction of getting the thing you want will be minimal as compared to the sense of satisfaction when you work hard and get it yourself. There is no free lunch in the world, as long as you work hard for it, then you deserve what you want. This is the way in living your life to the fullest.
No matter how much effort you put in for your friends or studies or family, as long as it is being appreciated, I do not really expect anything in return, cause I just do it from the bottom of my heart, and the feeling when I see smile in their face or the fabulous results I get is infinite memorable and they will be kept with me forever. After so many views on life and looks, I think I shall share with you guys some of the happy happening around me this few days.
Got back most of my common test results, even though was not very satisfied. I promised myself to work ultra hard for the exams. As for projects, I was quite satisfied with my performance. Got A & A+ for my MFS individual and group project. Thanks guys! I believe that for the remaining projects, we will be able strive our very best and score flying colours results again. After working so many semesters of projects, I am really glad to have someone who can truly understand and adapt my working style and I really had lots of happy memories even though there are still ups and downs. Aside from gaining knowledge in the modules, I had also gain lots of tips about life, and also inspired and motivated to work hard in order to enjoy the fruits of your success in future. I hope I did motivated and inspired someone in life too. =P
Tue was a long day, finished school at around 5pm before proceeding to library to do investment project till like 9pm. Then went to eat KFC with koon and chatted with him about life (which we haven did for quite some time) till about 10pm before sending him home, and go home.
On wed, I went out with the “you mo jia zhu” gals for sakae sushi buffet at Suntec City. We laugh, joke, eat, crap and play from 3.30pm to about 6pm. This buffet had also let me know Eileen and Vanessa BETTER. Hahaha. I got one special discovery; “parker” stands for “8”. Ahahahaha. I just laugh my ass off when I found out, and we were enjoying at all our cold jokes, at the same time finishing up about 40 plates of sushi and desserts. Mrs Jellyfish and Mrs Starfish, I know both of your secrets already. Ahaha. Vanessa, dun drop your ice-cream again ok. Hahaha. We played “True or Dare” too, and Eileen was so “lucky”. I just can’t stop laughing even when I writing the blog now. Haha. We ate until so full that I can’t stop rubbing my tummy when we were shopping after buffet. Tagging along with Eileen to marina square, and taking a few photos shots before Eileen leave to meet her friends. Van and I then continue shopping, ending up at SKIN boutique, where so coincidently, koon was there with his parents too. Apart from giving advice to koon on his jeans which he is so skinny that most of the designs do not have his size, I tried on a couple of long sleeve clothes and only managed to buy one. After that, stomach begins to give way to ice-cream. Haha. Shared a two flavour ice-cream with Van before going home sweet home, to continue with projects.
Early in the morning on thurs, I started contacting with the managers of various hotels before going to school for project till 5pm. After project, I went out with Marv to marina square for an aromatic oil massage. It was so comfortable that I got addicted and spent about $400 and sign up packages. My whole body really need to relax after so many weeks without sufficient rest. The guy massager is skills is fantastic and still remember me. Went for dinner at Swensen’s before having ice cream and shopping again. Then home sweet home.
And today is James Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMES! Bought him a t-shirt and shorts but the shorts was too small so need to go exchange for it. Right after school, went to have lunch with birthday boy, Koon, Eileen and Van at one of the Japanese ramen shop. The ramen was really delicious. After which I went back to school for MSA Camp meeting and a motivational talk by Mr Khoo, an adventurer. And after which went to my grandparent’s house which was halfway renovated. The wallpapers are really classic and elegant. I really look forward to see the newly furnished house next week. Haha.
Was supposed to come home for gym before having dinner but was too hungry, so skipped the gym. >< My granddad bought us a new karaoke set, which includes thousands of songs, and I was surprised by some of the new songs offered which I did not expect to have. Its something like those system at Kbox, so cool la. Next time can save money, no need to go kbox, can come my house for a karaoke feast instead. Woohoo. Sang for a couple of hours before blogging now. Haha.
That’s all from me for the weekdays. Got to go do project and prepare for tomorrow’s meeting. Have an enjoyable weekend. Take lots of care. Smile =)
